Found this doosy on my patio this afternoon. It’s almost 3 inches long and dead on MY patio. Sorry for the bad photograph. Two boys were trying to run off with it so I made them wait while I took a quick picture before they tossed it in some poor little girl’s hair.

My eyes refused to believe it was a bug until I got closer. Alas, a bug it was. I thought the spider that almost crawled into my hair the other day was bad… I wouldn’t have recovered if this had fallen in my lap while I was sitting, or god forbid, eating out there.

I may never sit on my patio again.

Based on previous entries, one might think that I’m going to write about the movie Stick it. The only problem is that I’m not sure how I felt about the movie seeing as the woman sitting behind me was so distracting that I couldn’t enjoy a single moment.

Have you ever had someone sitting near you that felt the need to comment about EVERYTHING that was happening. It seemed like this woman had never seen gymnastics before. Every trick or fall resulted in her gasping, laughing, or shouting, “He’s an asshole.” Of course, because she was talking all the time, she had to constantly ask what was going on because she missed the scene 2 seconds ago.

Honestly, one of the worst theater experiences I’ve had, and I’ve had my share of bad ones. These people should be condemned to watching movies AT HOME!!!
