Thank you for visiting my website. On this site you will find the compilation of design works including print, web design and programming as well as digital video production. I’m still new to this field but I’m thankful each and every day for the chance to learn new things and improve my skills.
Be sure to check out Family Stone and/or Elizabethtown. Both are rated high on my “must-see” list. Two great movies if you’ve experienced the loss of a family member or even just if the sense of family is gone. You have to allow for a slow start with Elizabethtown but then it really gets going with some wonderful insight and comforting advice.

Saw Cars this weekend. After four years of previews about this film I am supremely disappointed. It was slow, mushy and completely boring about 45% of the time. I think they came up with a great idea that should have been a short 30 minute film but they tried to stretch it into a full feature length movie.
The graphics are amazing. Having grown up around red rock and purple mountains, they really captured the essence of passing through those regions. Unfortunately, it’s not good enough to take away from the boring storyline. I kept feeling like I was playing with my dolls as a child. Where you’re really excited about making the sound effects and pretending that the cars are real people with beds, faces and past lives but for all the hubbub, it fell terribly short.
Some really funny parts but mostly horribly boring!

Based on previous entries, one might think that I’m going to write about the movie Stick it. The only problem is that I’m not sure how I felt about the movie seeing as the woman sitting behind me was so distracting that I couldn’t enjoy a single moment.
Have you ever had someone sitting near you that felt the need to comment about EVERYTHING that was happening. It seemed like this woman had never seen gymnastics before. Every trick or fall resulted in her gasping, laughing, or shouting, “He’s an asshole.” Of course, because she was talking all the time, she had to constantly ask what was going on because she missed the scene 2 seconds ago.
Honestly, one of the worst theater experiences I’ve had, and I’ve had my share of bad ones. These people should be condemned to watching movies AT HOME!!!

At first I thought this movie was gonna be way too wordy, and not in a good way either. In the first scene, the hero introduced himself with an onslaught of words all beginning with the letter V. I thought I’d puke. The next two hours of constant fidgeting and nausea flashed before my eyes. But to my wonderful surprise, it turned quickly to more serious matters.
I don’t want to spoil anything for those who want to see it but there is this incredible moment when Natalie Portman’s character has completely freed herself of fear but found out it was under false pretenses. We watch her struggle with the decision to keep her new sense of purpose or to fall back into old habits. It was perfectly scripted and performed. I found myself reliving so many situations in my own life. Changes I had made a commitment to, even vowed my first born to achieve yet I let slip away. Hard to see the dark side it is, especially when it feels so much like home. It was truly a powerful moment.

We went to see Running Scared yesterday. From an artistic point-of-view it was very unique. Lot’s of crazy camera angles and gritty textures. At first I thought that the close-ups were gonna drive me crazy but by the end I could see their purpose and felt the intended effect.
You should be warned that there is some SERIOUS language and sexual content and that the storyline is a failed attempt at mixing Crash and Pulp Fiction. I give them an A for effort but they pushed believability too far in a couple of places. However, it was the best acting I’ve seen from Paul Walker so far and I was at the edge of my seat for most of the movie. It’s worth seeing, at least I think so.
